Last night, the community joined together to celebrate San Antonio theatre with lively performances, beautiful speeches, and lots of laughter. 

It’s a joy to hold this event every year and see the happy, bright faces throughout the theater.

How the 2024-25 Nominees Were Scored

• Producers of theatrical productions submitted ballots.
• The ballots were then reviewed by the VP of Judging Affairs and then sent to a roster of about 60 judges for consideration.
• The judges attended the shows, scored the various categories from 0-10, and submitted their ballots directly to a third-party tabulator for entry.  The judges are bound to a code of ethics on how to score their ballots.
• At the end of the season, a master spreadsheet was reviewed by a Judging Affairs subcommittee to look for any issues such as judges voting for a show they worked on, etc.

Who is Eligible

• Productions produced within San Antonio are eligible for consideration.
• Individual artists who live within South Central Texas are eligible for consideration.  We rely on our producers to give us accurate information on residency but we do follow up if we have questions.
